First Baptist Church has a responsibility to reach West Bend with the light of the Gospel. To maximize our ability to reach many different groups of people, we are actively engaged in a variety of ministries that meet many different needs.

Members of First Baptist Church are encouraged to exercise their spiritual gifts and support the body of Christ by serving in one or more of the available ministries. As we faithfully serve, each one of us will be able to grow together in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).

But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. . . . And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:7,11-12).
